We operate with a 100% Volunteer Staff
Kevin Ford, Founder
Moving to Georgia from the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Kevin currently lives in Cumming, GA with his wife Jodi and daughter, Katelyn. Kevin attended the University of South Alabama where he studied Business and Economic Development. Following his passion for building small businesses and supporting the local community, Kevin serves as a Certified Business Performance Advisor with national leading PEO, Insperity. Kevin works to help local business leaders run their businesses more efficiently, grow faster, and make more money by providing solutions for the SMB market. Kevin also founded Kingdom Kids in 2009, a 501c3 non-profit that grants wishes to children facing challenging circumstances.
Kevin’s experience in building Kingdom Kids into an award-winning charity, created a passion to help all organizations to achieve their own missions. In 2017, a new technology will launch focused on helping individual donors engage with non-profits around the country whose mission aligns with their own. It will also empower organizations to share specific need-based opportunities for individuals to engage and support them in fulfilling their mission. Kevin has been humbled by how his community has embraced Kingdom Kids, and he is excited for expanding the impact both with other non-profits and for individuals all over the country through HowIGiveBack.org.
Jodi Ford, VP of PR/Communication
Jodi is a Sr. Technical Team Lead with AT&T and owns Naturally Beautiful Boutique, based out of Cumming. Her role within Kingdom Kids was assumed when she took on the challenge of creating our first ever Lily’s Run in 2009, which is now the largest event in Kingdom Kids annual calendar each year granting wishes to multiple local families.
Along with being the Director of Lily’s Run, Jodi also has the rewarding yet very detail-oriented task of communication with our wish recipients, their families and the public. Jodi handles all planning as well as pre/post wish fulfillment communication. As a result of the loss of her own father to a terminal illness at the age of 17, Jodi is committed to bringing smiles to family’s faces during their own challenging times. She plays a vital role in our day to day functions.
We could not do what we do without these wonderful full time volunteers with Kingdom Kids
